New year, new rubber shoes!

I have been eyeing on Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoes for months since they came out. And by the time I had my heart set into getting myself a pair, they were already sold or phased out in all stores I tried.

It was heartbreaking looking around for another design as comfy or comfier... until I found Nike Free Trainer 7.0 Shoes!

What they had to beat --- the last pair of rubber shoes I bought for myself was my old Skechers which I got way back in October 2004.

I loved them so much, I used to bring them wherever I go.

I got my Skechers from Las Vegas and I travelled with them to other parts of the US, to Canada, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong.

They also had their share of local tours and made friends with farmers and fishermen in several provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao., until they had to fly again for training and finally retire in Bangkok.

I'm just so choosy with shoes, I thought I'll never find a pair as comfy as my Skechers.

So that's it for my Skechers.

Goodbye, Skechers! Thanks for putting up with my bouncy feet for four great years!

And as for my new Nike Free, I hope you enjoy the ride!

Mike and I officialy earned our Masters' Degree in Technology Management last April 27. We attended both the college grad and the university recognition --- yah, who attends this? We put up with the heat and sweat under the sun just because we're "centennial graduates". But right after our 5-second shining moment (we were just asked to stand up then sit down again), we sneaked out to join our families for our joint grad dinner at Omakase.

And yes, we had time to pose with the oblation just like the other thousands of Isko's and Iska's out there.
